Many people believe that social network websites such as Facebook and Instagram, have had a huge negative impact on both individual and Society. To what extent do you agree?

The

first

chart shows the 2010 data on the production and demand of

steel

in the UK while the

second

highlights the number of employees recruited in the

steel

sector of the country in the same period. Generally speaking, there was a relatively declining trend in the amount of

steel

produced and the actual demand as well as the consequent number of workers employed in

this

industry.

Steel

manufacturing shot up to a 5000

million

tonnage in the

first

two months, the highest across the year, but

then

plummeted back to its previous figure weeks before April when it stagnated and

then

further

lowered to just above 3000 by August. The

steel

produced rose sharply again at

this

point to almost reaching its highest point but

then

depressed sharply to end and slightly under a 1000

million

tonnage in December. The demand for

steel

fluctuated between 1800 and 3000

million

tonnes for several months. It

then

dropped steeply close to zero before recovering in the

last

week of December to exactly 2000

million

tonnes. In

this

year, a majority of the workers (about 5700) were employed between mid-January and mid-February but the recruitment rate fell greatly by March to 3000 workers. From

then

, the number of people working in the industry fluctuated between 2500 and 3500 before falling steadily from August to December to end at 1000

steel

manufacturing employees.
