Government plans to construct an airport in your locality. Write a letter to the authority. - Explain where you came to know about the news. - Describe the negative effects of airport construction - Ask to consider alternate site for airport construction No less than 150 words
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to express my opinion on airport
construction
in Tuen
Mun area and ask for an alternative Correct article usage
the Tuen
of
the airport site.
A Change preposition
to
construction
proposal has been released on the government official website on 30 Dec, which your authority had started to consult publicly owing to this
consideration. Land development is understandably vital, however
, this
site selection was not appropriate.
First
of all, Tuen Mun is a residential area where more than a million citizens have been living here. The crowd and pollution that brought along with tourists and airplanes
will absolutely place a negative effect on the locals and neighbourhood. Change the spelling
aeroplanes
Furthermore
, though Tuen Mun is a developing area in Hong Kong, there is no room to contain such
a huge construction
in terms of spaces and resources since there is already plenty of residential and industrial architecture expanding in recent years.
Therefore
, we believe there will be a better option to build an airport to avoid disturbing the locals while being able to spare room for such
long term construction
. We hereby ask the related administrative to re-consider the site.Submitted by tsoiwingtung24 on
