Dear Manager Writing
this
epistle to express my dissatisfaction with my recent purchase from your website .
Last
Monday on 20th September, I ordered sneakers, my order number is 2145683218. Yesterday I received my parcel and unfortunately, the wrong product is delivered. The colour of the shoes that I ordered is white but received brown colour. Apart from
this
brand is unknown even I ordered Nike brand shoes. Despite these new shoes being ripped and of no use. I am moving abroad
next
Friday, so I do not have enough time, I believe
this
matter needs your urgent attention. Quick response is required from your side either by giving a full refund or sending the original sneakers again as earliest as possible . Hoping for your prompt and swift action . Yours sincerely 22 September, 21 John Smith

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
