Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with reference to your advertisement in the magazine regarding the child care required for your six-month-old baby and I would like to be considered for the position.
To begin
with, I am very fond of kids and pursuing my career as a Nanny for the last
6 years. Presently, I am working for an Irish family as a caretaker of their two kids whose ages vary from 2 and 4. I have completed a diploma in child development and am competent to take responsibility for juveniles.
Moreover
, I am a jovial person who also
loves travelling and discovering new locations. I have never been to Australia before and am very thrilled to explore the Country. In my free time, I will wander in the city, find out restaurants that serve good delicacies, and will do the shopping and make new friends.
I am available to appear for an online interview at your convenience and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
