You work for an international company and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. - explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months - say how your work could be done while you are away - ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear manager, I am writing to you in order to get your permission for a six-month leave from my current position. I am very eager to work in our main office in China for that period. To be honest, I nervously feel depressed for a couple of weeks. Frankly speaking, my psychologist advised me to change my work atmosphere temporarily. For
this
reason, I decided to spend a short-term period in another branch.
This
is not only beneficial for my mood, but
also
it helps me to recover my work-life balance. For the time being, I will work remotely to lessen my workload in my current duty.
However
, I am not able to finish all the workflow.
Therefore
, when I am back from China, I will complete all of the tasks. I would like to ask you to do me a favour. For getting my request approved, I need a formal letter from you on the company's letterhead. I am very much looking forward to your approval. Yours faithfully, John
