last
letter.I hope I find you well with your family.I heard you changed the institute.Congratulation on your new school. Hillside teacher's college is the best in Bulawayo.
I am writing this
letter to give you advice about how you will be able to fit in less time. The important thing is your first
impression, can u always try to keep a nice smile and talk less if you don't know.
Making friends is a difficult part and it needs patience.
You need to be a gentle person and
outspoken person.I also
suggest you join sports clubs and the choir .These two activities will give you exposure in your school.
The important advice is that you become a good student ,be smart and make sure that teachers will love you,be the best student and be punctual .
I hope my piece of advice will help you and contact me if need to ask something else.Unauthorized use and/or duplication of this material without express and written permission from this site’s author and/or owner is strictly prohibited. The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
