Some people believe that it's appropriate for children to learn foreign languages in primary school. Does the advantages of this outweigh its disadvantages?

Children
are very adaptive to new things at an early age,
therefore
some support the idea that it is beneficial for kids to learn new languages in primary school.
However
, some merits and a few demerits are associated with
this
, we will discuss them in the following paragraphs. The
first
benefit of learning a new
language
at an early age is the development and increased efficiency of the
brain
.
For example
, according to a scientific study, the students who are bilingual have brains that work differently and are very efficient in multi-tasking as compared to the
children
who know only one
language
. The
second
advantage of it is easy to learn in childhood as compared to learning a new
language
in adulthood.According to science, in
children
's
brain
, there are millions of neurons moving randomly that help in learning and retaining something new in the mind and when a
child
learns something,
then
some of the neurons combine to make a memory of it and as a
child
grows these random neurons remain very few in the
brain
,
therefore
the capacity of the
brain
in childhood is more as compared to the efficiency in adults.
On the other hand
, there are a few disadvantages linked with learning a foreign
language
in primary school for
children
.
Firstly
,It is sometimes considered as putting a burden on fragile
children
's minds.Because childhood is the most fun phase of life and in order to enjoy
this
phase there would not be any kind of burden related to studies on kids.
Otherwise
,there is a chance that a
child
becomes unable to focus on things and its
brain
makes it more complicated because of the extra pressure a
child
is feeling. To sum up, It is clearly seen that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages of learning a
language
other than the native
language
for
children
in primary school.If
children
are taught anything in a fun manner
then
they should not take it as a burden and they will enjoy learning new things.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
