In certain countries, people are having a long life due to which the life expectancy
also
rose.
This
can impact the individual by making them prone to illness whereas, on the society by depletion of the
resources
due to maximum utilization of it. On the one hand, when a person reaches their elderly they gradually start losing their physiology in the body which makes them at risk of getting sick. They are highly prone to getting bone fractures because of depletion in bone density due to ageing and the more they live the higher the chances of becoming bedridden. To cite an example, the majority of the aged population get illnesses

as bone problems, gastrointestinal problems, poor eyesight causing a risk of falls and so on.
On the other hand
, when the life expectancy increases the population of the country

rises; leading to the overuse of available
resources
