graph, accounting from 1967 to 2007. Overall, the British people and Swedish successfully decreased their emissions.
On the contrary
, Italy and Portugal grew higher continuously. At the beginning of the period, the United Kingdom (UK) stood as the highest country contributed to the high number of CO2 on the earth with 12 metric tons.
However
, in the following years, it slightly decreased and ended in 9 metric tons in 2007.
Furthermore
, Swedish experienced fluctuating years between 1967 and 1977, which decreased and increased dramatically. Apart from

, it significantly decreased in 1987 and

stuck at 5 in 2007. Unlike the UK and Sweden, Italy and Portugal faced a tremendous increase. Both of the countries began at a low number compared to the UK and Sweden, it was only 1 and 4,5 respectively. Undoubtedly, Italy and Portugal had not experienced any decrease at all. In 2007, Italy and Portugal reached 5,5 and 7,5 successively.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
