More and more people prefer online shopping these days. What are the advantages and disadvantages of online shopping?

Nowadays, online shopping is a big part of everyone’s life.
However
, a lot of
people
compare the traditional way of shopping with
this
modern one. It
also
has both pros and cons which can be interpreted in different ways.
Firstly
, when you are shopping online you can easily see the prices of the products and compare them.
For example
, some websites even have a comparison tool which helps you with
this
task. That way, there’s no need for you to wander around the shop for hours - you can choose the most suitable item with a few clicks. Online shopping can be a lifesaver for its opposite time-consuming activity.
On the other hand
,
this
innovative way of shopping
also
has its disadvantages. It can become an addiction for some
people
.
For instance
, they can be shopping for products that they don’t need just for the exciting feeling.
As a result
,
people
spend extra money on unnecessary things
instead
of items they actually need. What’s more, the product
that is
purchased online may not always be the same as expected. A lot of shops might have

activities.
This
can be overcome if
people
don’t purchase products with high expectations.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
