In their advertising, businesses nowadays usually emphasise that their products are new in some way. Why is this? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

It is not uncommon to see that
products
showed shown in advertisements nowadays always imply that they are new in some way. In
this
essay, the reasons for
this
trend will be discussed and I will explain why I view
this
as a positive one. The most obvious reason for those firms constantly seeking new features to advertise their
products
is that they want to have advantages over their
peer
companies. There are various choices in the market for
customers
, it is hard for them to stick to one product for too long. They will either get bored or be attracted by other newly released items. In
such
cases, updating the
products
frequently can help the businesses maintain the old
customers
as well as convince new clients
customers
to choose their
products
instead
of the ones from their
peer
companies. In my view,
this
is a positive trend as it can encourage
creativity
and motivate people to make innovations. To win from the
peer
competition in the market, those manufacturers would try ever harder to produce new
products
.
This
means more funding would be allocated

inventing and
also
that more employees with the qualities of
creativity
would be hired and promoted, making people address
creativity
more in the society,
thus
more interesting
products
can be invented, offering more choices to shoppers. As discussed above, businesses usually emphasise the new traits of their goods these days due to the reason that they want to win the competition among
peer
companies, addressing more attention from
customers
. And
this
is a positive trend as
this
can encourage
creativity
and trigger the market to offer better
products
.
