Culture
 has been defined in many ways, but a simple definition could be the way a certain set of individuals live. Every country or nation,
therefore
, has its unique
culture
. In
this
 regard, some think that, nowadays,
people
 are reluctant to preserve their countries’
traditions
 and cultures, while others believe the opposite to be true. In
this
 essay, I will discuss both sides and present my own view on
this
 subject. In today’s world,
people
 all around the world do many of their daily stuff the same as each other. As every part of the world is connected through the internet, the beliefs and lifestyles of many
people
 have become similar.
As a result
,
people
 tend to forget about their own
culture
 and follow the regular routines. Another reason for
such
 transition could be that many
people
 in different countries would like to live like those who are in modern developed countries.
In other words
, they try to dress, eat, drink and ,in one word, live like those
people
.
Therefore
, they are not interested in their own
traditions
. Turning to the other side of the argument, it is argued that the importance of
culture
 is not yet totally dismissed. It is said that
although
people
 carry out some of their activities in the same way as others, they still are largely influenced by the
traditions
 of their home country.
In addition
, the majority of
people
 are proud of their
culture
, as it reveals their identity. By maintaining their
culture
 they can actually maintain their identity and show it to all other
people
. In conclusion, there are opposing beliefs about whether
people
 value their own
traditions
 and cultures or not. In my view, because of globalization and the spread of the internet,
people
 are becoming more and more similar to each other. If
this
 trend continues it is highly likely that there will be no sign of
traditions
 in future.
