Information technology enables many people to do their work outside their workplace (e.g. at home, when traveling, etc.). Do the benefits of this mobility outweigh the disadvantages?

Advancement in technology has surely helped everyone in one way or the other. The booming IT sector has enabled many company employees to
work
from home or while travelling. I strongly believe that its advantages overpower its consequences.
Firstly
, Many workers who had to travel a lot because of their workplace being in a different state or city , now can save the
time
commute and
work
peacefully at their homes which will eventually increase their productivity at
work
.
For instance
,if A person living in a remote area has a job in the countryside , It will be difficult for him or her to travel daily to the office. But now with
work
from home is a possibility people are not required to travel every
time
.
In addition
to
this
, whenever a person travels to a hill station to spend some leisure
time
, He or she can carry just their laptops with them and in case any urgent requirement comes they will be able to handle them from anywhere.
Furthermore
,
this
is an environment we are familiar with and we can spend some
time
with our families and not feel isolated . To sum it up, working from home has its pros but we must take into account its cons as well .
