Dear Ravi, I hope
this
letter finds you well and I am very excited to meet you soon at the YVR airport. I see that your's plane will be arrived at 9am. Since It is Sunday we may have huge traffic.
hence
, I will be waiting in the parking lot.
Therefore
, we can meet over there and I can
also
carry your baggage along with me. As you know, Vancouver downtown is the best place in Canada and I have booked your accommodation in the Westin hotel which is in the core downtown and very close to all required facilities.
In addition
, you can have a mesmerising view from your room as I requested the hotel manager to provide the best room in the hotel. I know you will be busy with your schedules throughout the day and I decided to provide a good lunch at the weekend. I
also
ordered a brand new phone which is much needed to talk with your family and friend during your free time. When you feel alone and boring please do not hesitate to call me for the company and I am sure we can have fun together during weekends. I cannot wait to see you anymore and I wish you all the best on your trip. Best Regards, Lakshmi.

Use cohesive linking words accurately and appropriately

To score effectively on your IELTS exam, you should make an effort to implement short concise sentences coupled with linking words.

Almost every sentence in your essay should have a linking word of some sort.

In fact, the only sentences that can omit linking words are your background sentence and thesis.

Linking word examples:

  • firstly
  • secondly
  • thirdly
  • in additional
  • moreover
  • also
