Do the dangers derived from the use of chemicals in food production and preservation outweigh the advantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.

Nowadays,
food
industries rely on preservatives and
chemicals
.
Although
food
processing using
chemicals
enhances
food
quality, the hazardous side of these substances is more powerful. I agree with the previous statement and I will justify my argument in the upcoming paragraphs.
Food
chemicals
‘taxonomy is variable.
For example
additives
, pesticides, and fertilizers. Each one of these
chemicals
has a beneficial side and an immense harmful side.
To begin
with
food
additives
such
as preservatives,
flavours
, colours, and minerals.
However
these
food
chemicals
preserve
food
from spoiling using materials like sugar and salt, they make us more susceptible to serious chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and stroke.
Flavours
are another example of
food
additives
. Fast
food
is reliant on
flavours
to come with
this
delicious taste. But unfortunately, the taste is a silver lining, as many researchers proved that the majority of using
flavours
are carcinogenic.
Moreover
, I should mention the colourful
food
. These attempting kinds of
food
are considered the most hazardous ones, especially; for their target which is children. At the same time, currently, Agriculture involves using pesticides, and fertilizers on a large- scale. Every farmer uses either fertilizer or pesticide during the farming process. Due to the fact, that fertilizers can help crops to grow faster.
Moreover
, pesticides kill the wicked larva which eats the plants.
Conversely
, the WHO is against using
chemicals
in agriculture because they can cause serious cancers in the long run of consuming.
Therefore
, the novel trend of using organic
food
which is the
food
was cultivated without using any
chemicals
. To summarize, in recent decades, the prevalence of
food
processing increased exponentially. For the reason of the ability to increase
food
production and preserving for a long time.
Conversely
, using
food
additives
without limit affects our health negatively. So I would say, that we should reduce eating processing
food
.
Also
, the
food
industry and authorities like FDA shall impose rules restricting using of
chemicals
in
food
processing.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
