Many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of sugar, which causes many health problems. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar. Do you agree or disagree?

At the present, many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of
sugar
, which causes many health problems. Some
people
think that these sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage
people
to consume less
sugar
. In my opinion, I strongly disagree with
this
suggestion.
Firstly
, I speculated that there will be a large decline in profit for every business because most of our daily food has
sugar
. By increasing the
price
you make it more unreachable and high-end.
People
might not be happy to buy these sugary products and resolve to more
reachable
sugar
sources.
This
will solve the problem, and only bring a financial crisis.
For example
, you buy coffee every day, and when they increase the
price
to the point that you cannot buy it you will resolve to more
reachable
price
drinks.
In addition
, more natural
sugar
will be more popular and dominate the market, as it is more
reachable
and affordable.
Sugar
can be found everywhere. You will not be able to resolve the problem just by increasing the
price
of a manufactured product.
On the other hand
, you will be making
people
consume less manufactured
sugar
. Some
people
might not like other sources of
sugar
and consume less. Middle-class
people
will be able to eat less
sugar
from
this
situation. In conclusion, you can not solve the problem just by increasing the
price
. There are many ways you could consume
sugar
. When you increase the
price
of a manufactured
sugar
they will just go back to more natural and
reachable
sugar
.
