Watching TV shows and movies about crime is becoming more and more popular. Why is this? What effect does that have on society?

Nowadays, watching the latest TV shows and
movies
is one of the most popular entertainment activities in the modern world. The
crime
genre has gained a lot of fame ,especially among young people. In my perspective, the main cause for the rising popularity of
crime
shows is generally due to the internet trend.
Conversely
, there are various negative effects of watching
crime
shows mainly among the younger generations, that can surge the criminal rates in
society
. The upcoming paragraph will shed more light on the answers to both the given questions with relevant examples. To commence with,

takes place. It clearly describes the entire journey of survival. For
this
reason, the number of people watching
crime
series
has drastically increased and its influence is immediately seen all over the internet.
For instance
, a recent survey shows that the viewers of Squid games, which is a top-ranking
crime
series
, have one-half times more views when compared with other genres
such
as comedy or drama shows.
Finally
, the trend of posting social media pictures of watching the top-ranking

Consequently
, teenagers watching

For example

. To encapsulate, I would like to pen down by saying that watching

should only be permitted with adult supervision and extreme

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
