Dear Sir or Madam, I usually shop online and frequently prefer your site for procuring electronic items, clothes and snacks. In
this
instance, I am writing in connection with a broken product received from your online platform.
Last
weekend I ordered an exorbitant cell phone for my spouse. After unboxing I realised that it had a deep crack on the display screen. I was disappointed because the packaging was not sturdy for a fragile item.
Moreover
, the virtual store did not give any instructions to the delivery person to carry it meticulously.
Hence
, I want a full cashback for the mobile phone
however
you could neglect the delivery charges. I have selected the return option on the site for sending back the product. Looking forward to getting the issue resolved by receiving the refund. Yours faithfully, Devika

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
