You have lost an item of value on a train. Write a letter to the railway company. In your letter. • Describe the item • Explain where and when you left it • Say what action you would like the company to take
Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter in connection with a Laptop which I lost during a journey by train number 435xxx from Ambala city to Delhi Last
Friday.
This
laptop is of the brand Acer and black in colour. Also
, there is a mark on its back and a sticker of a red apple is placed on its left side. It belongs to my official property and It contains all the data pertaining to my official use.
Thus
, it is very essential for me. I was having the device with me when I catch the train at 10 o'clock in the morning from Ambala city. Unfortunately, I forget it on the train at seat no 85 by mistake when I was about to leave the station.
When I reached my home then
I came to know that my laptop is missing. I had to return it to my senior. Thus
, it would be really commendable if you could please ask your staff to locate it and inform me about it so that I can make arrangements for its collection from the platform.
Looking forward to hearing a positive and speedy
response from your side.
Thanks.
Yours Faithfully,
