While your friend was away on vacation, you stayed in his apartment. While you were there, you dropped an expensive bowl and broke it. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter - explain what happened, - apologise for the accident, - tell your friend what you plan to do about the bowl.

Dear Sara, I hope you are keeping up well? Hope your holidays were a great refreshment to your soul, as you badly needed one! I must
firstly
say, I had a wonderful experience while staying with you at your apartment. Can't forget the view really!
Secondly
, I feel more than delighted to spend my time in a house that had a beautiful balcony and everything that I needed. Now that you must be back, I wanted to reach out to you to tell you something about your favourite yet, expensive bowl.
First
and foremost, I was preparing soup for dinner and tried to extend my hand in order to access the bowls. Eventually, I was able to grab them but due to the slippery floor I couldn't balance and they dropped down to the floor and broke into pieces.  I do realise how important and precious it was for you, and I feel highly apologetical about it all. Because you mean the world to me, I decided to bring the broken pieces with me. Since I know its value, I decided to rebuild it into something amazing so that it still remains with you as a beautiful memory.
Furthermore
, I am ordering the same bowl in your favourite colour from your favourite store. Do consider
this
as my apology and thanksgiving. Looking forward to hearing from you! Your friend, Shagun Rodhe

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
