The problem with society today is that it is essentially unbalanced, with some people being paid huge salaries to work very long hours, whilst others do not have a job and have too much time on their hands. There is no middle ground. Do you agree or disagree?

In order to do better as a country, it is important to have a well-balanced economy.
However
, certain economists believe that most countries do find it difficult to reach the equilibrium point simply because certain jobs reward huge salaries whilst another group finds it difficult to get a job even. In my perspective, I strongly agree with
this
statement and it is important to find a way to pay most jobs with equal pay and find ways to reduce unemployment. I will be elaborating on
this
topic with examples in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Firstly
, equal pay is an important factor to create a well-balanced economy as well as society.
Although
it is vital, nowadays we could see that certain industries earn huge salary packages.
For instance
, we could witness that employees in the IT industry, and health sector get paid three to four times higher than the average salary of a person.
This
divides society into two "haves" and "Have-nots".
Secondly
, It is important for every country to keep the unemployment rate before 5%. If not,
this
would create many problems for certain families to survive.
For example
, the unemployment rate of Sri Lanka has gone above 8% in 2022 compared to 2021 which was at 4%.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
