The given line graph compares the changes in three different crimes namely
burglary
, car theft and robbery that took place in New Port city centre between the period 2003 and 2012. Overall, it is clear that in New Port city centre,the robberies had the lowest figure compared to
burglary
, which touched the peaked throughout the whole chart. In 2003,
Burglary
accounted for just under 3500, as well as, car theft had a figure of almost 2700 and Robberies joined
this
changing race at just above 500. Following the period, By 2003, there was a dramatic upward trend in
burglary
of nearly 3800 but
then
,
this
number sharply decreased to about 1300 in 2008, but after some swing,it stopped at just under 1500. Car theft, which remained almost the same in 2000 but after that continually rose to exactly 2750. In the end, Robberies figures, which did some fluctuation between the number of 500 to 1000 but at the end of 2012, it stopped at almost 750.
