Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that, in today's world, subjects like Science and Technology are more important than History. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

These days, a syllabus is one of the most crucial factors in parts of
people
's
lives
.
Students
have to study
subjects
that are essential knowledge for developing the quality of human
lives
in the future.
This
essay will analyze both views and my opinion with rational explanations. Some
people
think that
history
should be added to a curriculum because
students
can learn about mistakes that old
people
had made in the past. They can avoid letting these mistakes happen again.
For example
, if
students
learn about World War I and II, they will understand that after the wars happened there are no things that got better for human
lives
except losing. And
that is
a good reason why
students
have to learn
history
because they will exactly understand the effects of the bad actions of humans. In the thinking of others, science and technology are more important than
history
because these kinds of
subjects
could be reached
people
to have a variety of facilities. The facilities bring humans better
lives
.
For instance
,
people
can survive with only a self-phone, a tiny technology that scientists have developed until now using rare earth elements to be the crucial components. They can use it to make a call, order food, pay money, and even watch entertainment.
Hence
,
people
can not deny why schools have to have these
subjects
in their curriculum. In my opinion, I think not only
history
that important for
students
but science and technology
also
. These
subjects
are equally crucial to address in school
subjects
.
Students
should study both the terrible mistakes in the past to not do it again and the innovations that will have huge benefits for human
lives
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
