Your child is going on a three day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go. Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:  Say why you would like to go on the trip  Suggest what you could do to help during the trip  Ask other questions about the trip

Dear Ms/Mrs Smith, I am Angelica Dy, mother of James Dy, I am writing
this
letter to enquire from you the recent announcement of the school that they will have a three-day trip to Japan
next
month. After hearing it, I'm worried for my son, knowing it will be his
first
time travelling to a different country without his parents by his side. I'm aware that you're allowing parents to come along to the tour, in that case, I want to volunteer myself. I've been to Japan multiple times
last
year, more or less I know their famous tourist spot and cusine, add to that, I can understand and speak their language, so communicating with the locals won't be a problem. Do let me know the specific time and date of the outing in order for me to fix my schedule ahead of time.
Furthermore
, I want to know the accommodation they have during their stay and things to bring along for the activity. Thank you in advance for the reply, I look forward to hearing from you at you're earliest. Yours truly, Angelica

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
