Some people believe that air travel should be restricted because it causes serious problems and uses up the world's fuel resources. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

If you look up in the sky, you will see many aircraft, probably even too many. The aviation industry is controversial for many years. Despite the high
fuel
consumption and all the problems, the sector causes, air travel should be more regulated.
Therefore
, I strongly agree with
this
notion.
Firstly
, according to many scientists’ papers, aircraft are responsible for global warming through the high usage of
fuel
. Over the years weather catastrophes have gotten worse
for instance
more hurricanes and higher temperatures, just to name some of them. While the water levels decrease, the farmers are suffering and harvest less, which causes a higher cost of essentials. In the addition to the environmental ,cost there are
also
enormous economic costs to maintaining airports. The airports have employees to pay like security, national security agencies, logistics and hospitality.
Although
air travel has negative side effects there are
also
some advantages. Long-distance travel allows people to explore new cultures and broaden their horizons. As long as scientists find no
fuel
alternatives, aeroplanes will still use the world’s
fuel
recourses. Because negative aspects still outweigh, I agree that there should be more restrictions
such
as no short-distance flights and higher ticket prices.
