Fixing punishments for each type of crime has been a debatable issue. There are many arguments supporting both views, those for and those against fixed punishments. This essay will analyze both sides of the argument, furthermore, I am personally inclined to the latter view that suggests considering the circumstances of crime while sentencing someone.
