You paid a refundable deposit when you rented an appartment. You left the appartment in good condition but the landlord won't return your deposits. Write a letter to landlord. In your letter Explain why you are writing Ask for teh return of your deposits Inform the landlord of possible legal action

Dear Mr Renold, I am writing
this
to bring your attention to the conversation that we had the other day, about the apartment rental. I have clearly followed the agreement that we signed before renting out the apartment and I have returned it to you without causing any damage to it. I remember you admired my behaviour several times during your random visits to check the apartment status. As I followed my part of the agreement according to what we signed, I would appreciate it if you follow the same in your part of the agreement.
Hence
, I kindly request you to return my deposit as it was refundable. If you do not refund it on or before the 25th of September, I regret to inform you that I will take legal action against you to recover my deposit. I would appreciate your immediate attention to
this
matter, in order to stop the possible consequences. Yours sincerely, Supun
