Some people think that all TV entertainment programs should educate people about the importance of social issues. To what extent do you agree or disagree

It is an undeniable truth that the world is unimaginable without the
entertainment
industry. In fact, it is indispensable and spread across the world. Some
people
hold a point of view that every TV program should give knowledge on social problems and their importance, but
however
, I differ from them and opine that
this
concept will not make any justice to the
entertainment
industry and to the public. I elucidate my stand in the following paragraphs with some suitable examples. The
first
and predominant reason for supporting
this
concept is that some TV programs are meant for
entertainment
purposes only.
In other words
, they are not built to entertain
people
. To exemplify
this
point, we can consider The Kapil Sharma Show which was made with the sole purpose of making other
people
laugh with random jokes that brings a smile to millions of fans. Discussing social problems on that show is unjustifiable. Another factor that should be considered is some
people
prefer to watch funny programs after a stressful day at the office
Furthermore
, one more convincing point that cannot be ignored is revenue, which advocates that show . The
entertainment
industry is completely onrely what the public is looking for. If they make programs which nobody wants to watch
then
there will be a huge financial impact on the producer which they cannot bear.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
