Write a letter to the manager of the Lost and Found department of the railway regarding the luggage you accidentally left on the train. In your letter • give the details of your train trip • describe the luggage you left on the train • say what actions you want him/her to take.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to let you know about the luggage that I forgot on the train and seeking your help in finding it.
Allow me to elaborate on my circumstances. I had travelled in the AC1 cabin of the Victoria Express from Mumbai to Delhi with my family of four, using ticket number AGMPV8087E. The train left the source station at 4 PM on June 7th and arrived at the destination at 10 AM on June 8th. I stored two red baggage bags under the seat assigned to me: A20. Unfortunately, when we arrived at Delhi station, we forgot our luggage and only realised it after entering a cab on our trip home.
Apart from regular clothes, the bags
also
contained some vital personal documents such
as educational certificates and property papers. I would appreciate it if the request for baggage retrieval is addressed at the earliest. If the missing luggage is found, could you please contact me through email at [email protected] or phone at 9833392392? I will immediately come to pick it up.
Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely,
