The pie charts compare the proportions of three fast food outlets favoured by
teenagers
 in Vietnam and Indonesia in 2017 with projections for 2027. Overall, Burger King was the most popular amongst
teenagers
 in Vietnam in 2017, with McDonald’s and
KFC
 in
second
 and
third
 respectively.
However
, McDonald’s is predicted to increase dramatically over the 10-year period.
Additionally
, in Indonesia, it is clear that McDonald’s was the most popular fast food chain
although
 it is predicted to show a small but significant decrease in the future it will still be the most popular with
KFC
 and Burger King in
second
 and
third
 respectively. Vietnamese
teenagers
 who preferred
KFC
 comprised 4.1% in 2017 and
this
 showed only a very slight increase of about a mere 2.2% to 6.3% in 2027.
Likewise
, in Indonesia,
KFC
 generated 23.8% which rose marginally to 39.2% 10 years later. In 2017, just over half the
teenagers
 in Vietnam preferred Burger King (52.8%), compared to just over 15% of Indonesians in the same age group. It is envisaged that by 2027 these numbers will drop to nearly 13.8% and 3.1% in both countries respectively.
