Smoking should be banned in public places because it affects the surrounding people of the smoker. Research states that non-smokers get more affected by passive smoking than the active smokers. Non-smokers do not have resilience to avoid the harm of smoking that active smokers have. Moreover, in public places, there are elder adults, pregnant women and children who get severely affected by passive smoking. They find it difficult to travel by public transport.
