The graph show information about the new

 closed in a country, over an eight-year
period
 between 2011 and 2018. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that a more
number
 of
shops
 are opened at the beginning and more
shops
 are closed at the end of a given
period
. Looking at the details, around 8500
shops
 are opened in 2011 while during the same year almost 6500
shops
 are closed. The
number
 of
shops
 opened was fluctuating during the whole
period
 with a difference of around 2000 to 3000
shops
 per year.
By contrast
, the
number
 of
shops
 closed during the given
period
 was fluctuating with very large margins and almost touched zero in 2015 but again shows an upward trend of around 5000
shops
 closed in 2018, which is more than the
number
 of
shops
 opened in 2018 by approximately 2000
shops
. In general, by looking at the data, we can say that during the whole
period
 more
shops
 are opened than closed in that particular country.
