You were hurt in a small accident in a store last week. Write a letter to the store manager. In your letter: introduce yourself describe what happened say what action you would like the manager to take
Dear Sir,
I am writing to bring to your attention an incident that occurred in your supermarket
last
weekend. I would also
like to make some suggestions so that such
a thing will never happen.
My name is john and I have been a loyal customer of your smart ever since I moved to this
area 8 years ago. Although
your store is slightly further
from my home than IGA, I always made a round trip because of your quality fresh products and excellent customer service.
On this
occasion, however
, I suffered an unfortunate accident, I believe, to the negligence of the floor staff. As I was waking to check out my groceries, I stepped on the spilt water and fell down, spraining my wrist in the process.
while I understand the store gets busy sometimes, falls could be avoided if ground staff are quicker to act. so that therefore
I would request you to review the policies around the spillages, and, make sure that staff should stand guard against the spilt liquid until it is wiped off.
Hope you will consider this
into account in order to avoid further
mishaps.
Yours Faithfully
