The use of social media is replacing face-to-face interaction among many people in society. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

It has been said that real interactions have been substituted by virtual ones. As far as I am concerned, I deeply think that
this
trend will lead our society to a destination experiencing health
issues
will be normal. In
this
essay, I will
first
, give the advantages of
this
trend and
secondly
, I will give the disadvantages. In our modern era, social
media
such
as Tik Tok, Facebook and Instagram have been put in the centre of our world and have even become for some of us, a member of our family. Social
media
today are so important that
people
are living only in a virtual world. Some individuals
such
as shy
people
or humans which have few real interactions

define their social life as essential.
In addition
, some
people
who struggle to find their soul mate through usual ways
such
as meeting
people
at bars or nightclubs, find applications
such
as Tinder or Grindr really useful.
However
, the predominance of the virtual world over the real one rose some
issues
.
First
of all, the fact that
people
live only through virtual interactions restricts their ways of thinking. It has been universally acknowledged that young
people
who decided to kill some of their pairs, found their motivation on the internet, watching videos or reading articles created by extremist human beings. According to an American survey, 60% of mass-shooting occurred in the USA, were made by
people
who were socially isolated and found their motivation on the web.
Moreover
, by having only a virtual life,
people
and especially youngsters have more chances to experience health
issues
. It has been scientifically said that social
media
are the main reason for health problems among young
people
. As consequence, the social network called Instagram removed the “like” button, which was one of the main causes of brain
issues
. To sum ,up
although
there are many advantages, the disadvantages are too many to not warn
people
about social
media
.
