You have been assigned to give a networking presentation with your colleague from a different office, who you met last year. Write a letter to your colleague. In your letter: • Inform your colleague that you will be working together. • Provide your initial ideas on the networking presentation. • Ask for a time to meet and practice the presentation.

Dear Mr Yang, I am writing to inform you that we are candidates to proceed with a new project related to a networking
presentation
. I will cooperate with you in our sales department and my position is a financial advisor which is proficient in insurance and mutual funds. As I know, you are a new sales representative in our section, so both of us oblige to propose great initiatives regarding
this
presentation
. I would like to organize all colleagues' personal contact information on the
last
page of the
presentation
and
also
summarize some main points in the
first
agenda.
Furthermore
, the following content will concentrate on each worker's particular assigned duty, so audiences could have a general idea of everyone's speciality. I wonder whether you are available on Tuesday afternoon so we could rehearse
this
presentation
together.
Moreover
, I will reserve a small meeting conference and
also
borrow a projector so as to output the
presentation
in terms of confirming the details of the
presentation
. Please reply to me with your confirmed time regarding the
presentation
rehearsal, and hope we can have a successful delivery. Yours faithfully, Claire Chen

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
