Many elderly people are no longer looked after by their families but are put in case homes or nursing homes. What are the advantages and disadvantages or this trend?

These days, many families start to send their old parents to nursing homes
instead
of taking care of them. Despite many arguments coming from the trend,
this
actually has both advantages and disadvantages in putting elders in
such
a place. The positive sides vary from no longer feeling lonely to getting good care from professionals.
Firstly
, a senior home can help elderly people eliminate their loneliness since they are often times left alone at home by their busy children and grandchildren.
Moreover
, the place can be a medium of gathering in a community with the same background,
thus
the opportunity to share a similar experience and feeling that they can not do in their own house.
Last
but not least, a nursing home usually comes with a package of specialized health care for seniors that can be very beneficial for customers. On the other side, the phenomenon
also
has negative effects due to family and financial matters. For some mature-aged ones, their hometown is the most comfortable area to live in so moving to another location for the rest of their lives can be difficult to adapt to, not to mention the struggle to live far away from their loved ones. Financially, some nursing packages with the best service, which every family want, often come with an expensive cost to pay. Putting your senior ones in your family in a professional community can be a good option for some people rather than looking after them by yourself, but there are actually plus and minus outputs of the decision that have to be calculated well.
