You recently organised an all day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter * Say what the participant liked about the hotel. * Explain why they were unhappy about the hotel. * Suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in futures.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing in connection with the event I organized for our company's 20th anniversary in your hotel on 10th November 2022.
First
of all, I was happy to hear that all of our guests enjoyed being at your hotel.
Although
they send us lots of positive feedback about the ambience, music band, architecture, interior design, and your courteous team for hosting us, they all complained about the food and desserts. To illustrate, they had all the same complaints
such
as the steaks were tough, the salad and some layers of the cake sponge were stale and unfortunately, most of the dishes were cold. To sum up I would like to suggest that; If you add more variety of foods to your menu and Instal warmers for your serving side, and keep an eye or snoop in your kitchen to be updated on what they are doing there, It would add more benefits aside the serene environment of the hotel. at
last
, do not hesitate to ask me if you need more comments and feedback in detail. Looking forward to hearing from you. Yours Faithfully

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
