Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing

letter to express my sincere apologies for my inability to complete the ATX project
on time
which caused a loss of an important client to the company. In future, I will take all necessary measures to avoid this
kind of situation.
In fact, for the last
few months, I was on time
for the completion of all activities of the project
. However
, during the final testing stage, some bugs were found which took a considerable time
to rectify them. On top of that, my mother got ill and had to hospitalize for her treatments which caused my absence for a few days from the project
. As a result
of it, I was unable to complete the project
on time
and took one additional week.
However
, I will take this
as a lesson and will prepare project
plans at outset allowing time
for unforeseeable events of this
kind. Also
, I will update the general Risk Register of the company, so others of the company also
could get prepared for an event of this
kind in future.
