Because of growing populations, more homes are needed in many countries. Do you think it is better to build houses in existing cities or build new towns in the countryside?

The world population is booming nowadays and more accommodations are needed worldwide. Some people may argue that it is better to construct new houses and apartments while others opine that suburbs and outskirts are better places to build new towns. In my ,opinion both views have their merits and demerits and the government should consider them both. On the one hand, expanding existing cities is a good idea as they already have their basic necessities and infrastructure.
For instance
, electricity connection has already been installed, there are water services and even grocery markets and retail stores. We have many facilities and public transport like underground trains and the subway.
However
, there are many problems like bumper-to-bumper traffic congestion and air and water contamination. On the other, by developing new towns in suburbs and rural areas governments can improve and boost the economy of the country and can make more job opportunities and
also
construct great workplaces for employees.
Moreover
, there is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to develop their businesses and open new branches. People who will move to rural areas can live in detached houses which are made of trim and bricks with spacious living rooms and large yards. In my ,opinion it is the best way to reduce the problems caused by population growth. By way of conclusion, Moving to rural areas have its pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons. And it is important for the government to tackle problems and remedy situations in new cities by equipping them with cutting-edge facilities.
