The pie charts below depict the gadgets used by teenagers in a European country between the ages of 18 and 25 to watch TV in the 10-year period from 2007. In general, it can be seen that the percentage of devices mostly has an upward trend, and there is a transition for the most used between the conventional
TVs
in 2007 to the flat screens in 2017. In 2007, tablets were the least used.
Nevertheless
, after 10 years, the pattern changes when the conventional
TVs
were at the bottom.
According to
the data, in 2007, the device that was most used was the conventional
TVs
, with a rate being over a third. The mobile phones, desktop computers and laptops had a nearly equal percentage (about a fifth), respectively 15%, 18% and 20%. The flat-screen
TVs
just accounted for under a tenth, about 8%. And the tablets, which were the least used, took 5%.
However
, in 2017, there were many significant changes in the percentages.
Initially
, the conventional televisions from the most used became the least, with the percentage decreasing from 34% to 4%.
