In many countries today, crimes novels and TV crimes dramas are becoming more and more popular. Why do you think these books and TV show are popular? What is your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas?

line chart details the transformations that occurred in 3 types of
crimes
in New Port city over 9 years. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that
Burglary
crimes
were the most common at the beginning of the time surveyed, while Robbery
crimes
are by far the lowest theft figures of all time. In 2003, the
Burglary
curve began the data at just under 3500
crimes
in the country, significantly higher than the 2800
crimes
of car stealing. Over the
next
year,
Burglary
rose to a peak of 3750
crimes
before a precipitous fall that persisted until it reached approximately 1250
crimes
rate in 2008. Meanwhile,
Burglary
figures were erratic and fluctuated between 2000 to 3000 over the 7 years. Robbery
crimes
which are considered the lesser form of crime stood at just above 500 thefts from people, plateauing at 800 in 2005 before a gradual steep to 500 robberies, and
then
returning to a slightly depressed level at precisely 750 by 2010 and an uptick trend to end the period with the number of
crimes
reached more than 750.
