this

college
and would request you to issue a report against
this
. I am a
second
-year student at Cambridge University, UK, pursuing English honours and have been staying here for the
last
two years. As I am an overseas student, I do not have too many local connections here, except my fellow students and
college
staff.
Furthermore
, on 20th December I was returning from
college
to my accommodation via bus as usual. After reaching home, I realized that someone has stolen my wallet which includes my credit
card
and id
card
.
However
, I immediately called customer service and blocked my
card
number, so that no one can misuse it.
Although
, unable to retrieve my identification
card
.
Lastly
, I would urge you to record
this
incident, for your reference I have attached all the necessary details regarding the bus number, id number. In order to reissue the
card
from the
college
, I would require a copy of
this
report.
Hence
, request you to take it as a priority. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Yours sincerely, Aayushi Rawat

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
