Completing a university education is thought by some to be the best way to get a good job. On the other hand, other people think that getting experience and developing soft skills is more important. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
In the present age, it is considered that to have a good workplace people need to be educated, while others assert that it is vital to develop soft
skills
. This
essay will discuss both these points of view and argue in favour of the former.
On other hand, numerous universities give students hard skills
in education
that help them to become professional specialists. Also
, we can not deny the fact, that in many countries, some universities after graduating provide a guarantee to get a job in a prestigious company that might cooperate with the university. For instance
, if students studied law, they would be able to get internships where they have the opportunity to practice their hard skills
such
as analyzing, critical thinking, and difficult terminology.
On the other hand
, some people strongly believe that soft skills
have more value than studying at university. To be more exact if professionals such
as a doctor, lawyers, and other serious specialists do not have a chance to get work without an education
, other specialists in spheres like business, the digital industry, and IT can build the career with 80% soft skills
such
as communication and negotiating and only 20% of certain knowledge in the work. In other words
, it depends on the occupation of the person and some people do not need to be educated to have a successful career.
Having considered all the arguments above, I would conclude that getting high education
is a difficult decision for everyone. However
, personally, I believe that education
after school plays a significant role in life.Submitted by ayerezheyeva on
