You have recently started working for a new company. Write a letter to an English speaking friend. In your letter; • Explain the reasons why you changed jobs • Describe your new job • Tell him/her your other news.

Hi Joy, I hope
this
letter finds you well. I just wanted to let you know about a big change in my life - I've recently switched careers and am now working as a teacher at our old school! It's been a dream of mine for a long time and I'm thrilled to be able to work in the same place where we spent so many years learning and growing together. She was picking up her nephew and we ended up chatting about all the great (and mischievous) times we had while we were students there. It really brought back a lot of fond memories. I was hoping you might be able to

vacation. I know it's not the same as it used to be, but I think it would be really special for us to reconnect in our old town and relive some of those unforgettable moments. What do you say? Warmly, Jennifer

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
