You are a student at a language school in New Zealand studying Business English. Part of the course is a summer work placement programme. Unfortunately, you have just learnt from the school that this programme has now been cancelled. Write a letter to the School Principal. In your letter: state your reason for writing describe the problem and your concerns explain what you would like the Principal to do.

Respected Sir, My name is Rubina and I am studying Business English at your prestigious school for the past 2 years. I am writing to express my deep disappointment about the cancellation of the placement drive which is held every summer. As per the curriculum mentioned in the school's brochure, shared during our orientation,
this
summer work placement was a mandatory part. But now, when only a few days are pending, we were informed that it will no longer be held by the faculty. One of the main reasons I chose to study Business English at your school was the chance to participate in the work placement programme. There are many schools in
this
country that offers
this
course, but not many offer the chance to go and work in a local company as part of the programme.
Therefore
, I request you to please look into the matter and schedule
this
event. If it can not be conducted in person
then
arrangements can be done digitally. Information can be shared over emails and interviews can happen using video conferencing. I, along with other students, am more than happy to volunteer so that it could be conducted on time. Looking forward to receiving your reply. Yours faithfully, Rubina Gill
