Write a letter to a friend about an upcoming event in your town. Include What the event is Why they would be interested An invitation to stay with you
Dear Aybuke,
I'm writing to you to invite you to a rock concert. Büyük Ev Ablukada is going to perform in the city hall
next
month. I have an extra ticket and I would like to give you as a present.
We used to go to concerts when we were kids yet we couldn't do this
anymore. I miss our childhood and this
is a great opportunity to remind those years. I hope we can go together. Plus, this
band includes some incredible decors, solo performances and guest celebrities in their show. I know your celebrity crush Korhan Futacı is in town and maybe he is the guest celebrity. That's why you'd enjoy it if you join my plan. Also
, I know you can not go to your house at late night but you will be welcome in my flat. I have a guest room and we can do a pyjama party after all these years.
Best wishes,

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
