You have been doing some voluntary work to help your local community. However, now you are unable to continue doing this work. Write a letter to the manager of the organisation where you have been working. Describe the work you have been doing, explain why you can no longer do this work, recommend another person who is interested in the work.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to inform you that I will no longer be able to continue my community service. I have been extremely pleased to have been able to help my community for
this
long period of time. Let me explain my situation, as you remember I am a volunteer and have been doing the greenery around the school since graduation. We have tried to provide a green and friendly environment for the children.
This
has been my passion for the past years but now I have to leave volunteering
due to
health reasons.
Due to
the development of asthma, I get tired very quickly and have breathing problems.
However
, I would be happy to recommend my neighbour for
such
work. Her name is Maria and she is very organised and motivated. She will fit in well with the local community and could replace me as well. Once again, I would like to apologise for the inconvenience. If you need any other information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Yours sincerely,
