Studying business or science related subjects at university level is more important than arts related courses like literature. Do you agree or disagree?

In the contemporary world, literacy and numeracy have a pivotal role in individuals' life.
while
some
people
believe that business and science are more important than
art
, others mention the idea that society ought to accept the importance of
art
. I will talk about my agreement or disagreement in
further
stages. On the one hand, careers related to business and science are growing immensely
due to
the income
people
can have in the future.
For example
, in Iran students, under the pressure from their families, want to become doctors or businessmen.
People
want to guarantee the future by choosing these kinds of fields.
Hence
, they think these majors are more important than others.
On the other hand
, a large number of groups mention the idea that
art
is a necessity of society. Because it can protect the heritage of human being history
that is
handed down from generation to generation.
For instance
, artists in artworks show the culture of the specific area where they are living there or mention the sentimental behaviour of locals in a specific historical period. When we explore Hafez's poems we can find out
this
poet
due to
his country's conditions had to use metaphors in his poems.
To sum up
, all the aforementioned points can bring us to the conclusion that because of modern life requirements and some financial needs,
people
choose other fields rather than
art
. But
art
is entwined with culture.
For
this
reason, governments should allocate funds to internalize the importance of educating pupils from childhood.
