You have recently missed a project deadline which resulted in your company losing an important client. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter apologise for what happened explain why you missed the deadline tell him/her how you will avoid this situation in future.
Dear Mr Javid,
I feel sorry for the
last
project being uncompleted in the required time because of my mistake.
I would like to apologise for being incompetent in order to complete the tasks on time.I could not test all the types of equipment that were involved in this
part.However
, clients who required to finish them within a short period.
The reason why I could not meet the deadline was that one of my colleagues had taken time off from his job for 2 weeks,therefore
,I had been overburdened with his workload.I had to juggle my tasks and his job.
I promise that these kinds of cases will not be repeated again because I have lived in this
situation and I know that if I confront such
a situation,I will contact you to ask for support.I firmly believe that the experience I have lived will affect my capability directly.
