The diagrams illustrate information about the period spent by grown-ups on six activities between 1958 and 2008 in a certain state.

, it is clear from the charts that in both years a majority of adults spent most of their time working
while
a few travelled to
work
.
To begin
with, in 1958, a high
number
of people spent most of their period at
work
( 33%),
while
a percentage lower (32%) decided to use theirs on sleep. During the same year, a minor
number
of individuals used their time for going to
work
and others played sports with 2% and 6% respectively. Coming to half a century later, those spending their period working still dominated and even increased in figures by almost 10% from 33% to 42%.
However
, the
number
of sleepers and those going out reduced
while
that of adults spending time relaxing at home increased from (8% to13 ) and the interest in playing sports
also
went up by 2 per cent (from 6% to 8%). The
number
of those travelling to
work
also
rose by 6% from 2% to 8%.
